Author Interview: Mary Kathleen Mehuron

In the summer of 1972, eighteen-year-old Maeve O’Connor is desperate to escape her conservative family and pursue her dream of studying photography. Her chance comes in the form of a photo contest. She finds the needed compelling subjects in a fading seaside town where strippers, sideshow performers, and artists live openly on the boardwalk. There, Maeve falls for Georgie, an androgynous musician chasing stardom, and builds friendships with a group of misfit creatives.
